In this task, the timetable for the Technical University Ingolstadt of Applied Sciences was analysed and redesigned. The focus lay on improving the functionality of the application, while preserving the basic elements of the existing corporate design.

Analysis
First, the concept of the current timetable was analysed to identify its functional and visual strengths and weaknesses.
Pain points
One major weakness was the complicated navigation, as the current semester and the selected study group for the respective semester had to be set each time the page was loaded. In addition, the available space was not used optimally. The main information on the individual courses was hidden, so the information you were looking for was not visible at first glance.
Draft
The design process began with the creation of various sketches that addressed the main weaknesses of the application. For this purpose, a well thought-out design grid was first created to ensure a systematic and logical structure of the complex information and to promote quick comprehension of the content.
Implementation
Finally, the design was implemented digitally in Adobe Photoshop according to the favoured sketch with a specially created site plan and icons.
Key project learnings
It turned out that individual students had varying challenges with the timetable and therefore developed different concepts. Unfortunately, there was no time for extensive user testing in this exercise. Nevertheless, I learned that feedback from the target group is vital for the development of an excellent concept.
